Seth Foster approached Don Crank and Tim Foster with the idea to design their own ingredient product line.
Innovative Proteins, Inc. began commercially producing and selling plant-based ingredient products from Midwest contract manufacturing centers.
InnPro's headquarters were established in South Dakota.
2016
Innovative Proteins, now part of the InnPro group of companies, was formed as a forward looking strategy to grow multiple business units spread through multiple locations across the Midwest.
2017
A second contract manufacturing partner in Indiana was added to produce pea and rice proteins as well as dairy alternative products, namely oatmilk.
2018
InnPro was granted a patent in the United States for yellow pea protein compositions with high digestibilities and amino acid scores.
2019
Development and commercial sale of oatmilk powders gets underway.
2020
InnPro expanded production capabilities and scaled growth by acquiring ownership of an active manufacturing facility in Illinois.
2021
InnPro was granted a patent in Canada for yellow pea protein compositions with high digestibilities and amino acid scores.
2022
InnPro Ag & Grain joined the InnPro group of companies in order to improve visibility into the commodities market and support closer relationships with regional growers and cooperatives.
A grain receiving, cleaning, and warehouse facility was acquired in Minnesota to support these efforts.
InnPro doubled its team at both the South Dakota Headquarters and the Illinois manufacturing facility.
2023
InnPro launched patented PROFECTEIN™, a game changing, ultra-filtered plant protein.
InnPro was granted a patent in the United States for our methods of making plant protein concentrates.
